Description

The Elderly & Disabled Housing Repair program assists income eligible seniors (age 62 and older) and disabled Sioux City homeowners who are in need of home repairs.

The program typically provides repairs to, but not limited to, the following:
-- Electrical
-- Plumbing
-- Repairing roofs & soffits
-- Repairing masonry and concrete
-- Repairing porches
-- Furnishing & installing gutters and downspouts
-- Installing energy efficient doors
-- Renovating bathrooms
-- Widening interior doorways
-- Replacing door and window hardware
-- Installing grab bars or railings
-- Relocating laundry facilities to the main level
