Eligibility

Pet food assistance is income based - must be below national WIC guidelines; Open to anyone on spay/neuter and vaccination clinic

Required documents

For pet food, must bring documentation that pets are owned (such as pictures), photo ID, proof of income, and spay/neuter documentation

Application process

Call for appointment for spay/neuter program and pet food; Application must be completed online or in person to receive assistance; Visit office for vaccination program

Fees

None for regular food; Co-pay for prescription food; Voucher issued for spay/neuter program, client is responsible if procedure cost is higher than cost of voucher; Call for details on vaccinations

Description

Addresses the root causes of animal homelessness in Lincoln and the surrounding area.  Assists pets and their people through a voucher-based low cost spay/neuter program, a temporary assistance pet food bank, a low-cost vaccination clinic, and teaching people about being responsible pet guardians at community events.
