Offers low income immigrants and refugees a safe place to seek free legal assistance for immigration and naturalization issues. The attorneys provide counsel for immigrants and refugees who are eligible for legal status in the United States. Counsel and advice for new clients is available at monthly legal clinics in 7 locations in Iowa: Cedar Rapids, Columbus Junction, Des Moines, Ottumwa, Decorah, Marshalltown and Storm Lake. The attorneys will continue with cases eligible for immigration benefits.
