Please know that families are only permitted to register at 1 Toys for Tots location. Signing up at more than 1 Toys for Tots site can disqualify you from being able to receive any toys.
Toys will be available to be picked up at 530 NE Broadway (NE46th), Des Moines, IA on Friday, December 12th 5-7pm and Saturday, December 13th 10am - 2pm.

For Christmas 2025:
Families who live in Sarpy County with children (ages 0 to 14) who meet low-income guidelines can apply for assistance with receiving new toys for their children.
Applications will be accepted at the three locations listed below. If unable to visit those locations, applicants may contact Tandra at (402) 593-2347 to schedule an appointment for their application.
No walk-ins are permitted; appointments are required throughout November (from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm). The address for completing an application will be provided when making an appointment.

- Proof of ages of children (must have at least 1 child age 14 or under living in the household): children’s birth certificates, or current Medicaid card (with birth date), or school enrollment forms.
- Proof of total household income: pay stubs for last 30 days, or Social Security 2025 Benefits Letter, or unemployment letter, or Nebraska DHHS Economic Assistance/Medicaid eligibility letter.
Applicants will know on registration day if they are approved.

Provides gifts and clothing for the Christmas season to children of eligible households in Hancock, Henderson, and McDonough counties.
For Christmas 2025:
Due to a high number of applications received in a short time, WIRC's Project Santa program has paused applications for the 2025 season (as of 10/13/25).
A waitlist application is now available: https://wirpc.org/projectsanta. If spots open for the 2025 program, WIRC will consider households on the wait list in the order they applied.
Those who do not want to be put on the wait list are encouraged to explore other holiday programs in the area such as Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, or Shop with a Cop.

This also includes extra groceries to help during the Holiday season when school is out. There will be only 1 Turkey 'N Fixins program per address.

Beginning November 1st, 2025, community members can come to the Timberlake Outreach Center or the Council Bluffs Outreach Center (on the days they are open) and receive a turkey or a ham, along with some other traditional Thanksgiving specific foods as a part of their once a month shopping time. (Only one turkey or one ham per address.)
Program runs through Nov 27th, 2025. Individuals/families can receive Turkey 'N Fixins Wednesday-Saturday at the Timberlake Outreach Center, and on Tuesdays only at the Council Bluffs Outreach Center.
